1945 (Friday) – Dorothy (Dorothy Snader), Jean (Jean Snader) and I went to the Lion House for lunch, shopped , then went out to Liberty Park. Met Maxine (Maxine Carter) and her two daughters (Ardith Sharon and Anice Rae Allen), the girls took the children to the merry-go-round and ferris wheel. We watched the birds and animals for a while, had ice cream cones and then we all went out to Maxine’s. She gave us some punch and cake. Then we, Dorothy, Jean and I, returned home. The girls left about midnight for home.
