1945 (Sunday) – Father’s Day. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and children (Darlene Lunt and Sharon Alice Holman) gave George (George Thornton Holman) a lovely watch. Eva sent Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) a box of candy and I left one hid at home for him, sending him word where he could find it. I found out the Father received gifts from all his children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert, Eva, Della, and Earl Sperry Lunt).
Sharon and I went to Sunday School. Afternoon – George took Eva, Sharon and me for a ride over to Ely.
