1945 (Wednesday): Today is Eva’s (Eva Ruth Lunt) she is 40 years old. About Monday July 2nd, the doctor told Eva she could go to Salt Lake whenever she wished. On the fourth of July, quite a large group of people went up Bird Creek to spend the afternoon, had dinner there. It was quite pleasant there. Eva enjoyed the outing very much, in fact, we all did.
