1945 (Wednesday) – Georgetta (Georgetta Marie Lunt) spent most of the day visiting with her Astle relatives. I don’t know when I have seen a brighter child for his age than David (David Warren Astle), he sees everything and is into everything, one has to watch him almost every minute. His special special delight is to plug in or pull out electric plugs, anything that moves he has it moving, wee little thing, but has a temper all his own, moves quick as a flash, climbs on most everything, loves to play in the water, especially the sprinklers, and then how he laughs. A very determined little boy, he should get somewhere in this world unless he injures himself in some of his tryings. Kay (Kathleen Astle) is a lovely baby, we all adored her and a very good baby.
