1945 (Wednesday) – Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and I went to the clinic to have a doctor examine her hand, they were so busy, we had to wait there about two and a half hours before he was through with her. We took a streetcar down to Sears, did some shopping there, then went to Grant’s for lunch, did some more shopping, then caught a cab for home. Had been gone for over four hours, leaving Sharon (Sharon Alice Holman) to play by herself, she was a very good girl. Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I went to the grocery store. Evening – Brother Marion L. Thomas visited us as a block teacher. He told us a little of his life experiences. Said about three years before, he joined the church, he had a dream in which he saw the things which would happen to him, saw his father and realized he was doing a great work in the spirit world and that he wanted him to help him here on earth. It was made known to him that he would join the Mormon church and that his work would have something to do in record keeping and he said he saw me in his dream, perhaps helping with his records, I didn’t ask him. He said the dream was repeated, I think he said a good three nights.
