1945 (Thursday) – We made 16 pints of currant jelly. Evening – I went to Brother Cook’s, where most of the officers, or committee met to form some bylaws and a constitution for our imaginary family organization. Before starting, we listened to the splendid talk given by President Truman. We spent a very pleasant time together and accomplished quite a bit.
