1945 (Wednesday) – In the afternoon, Howard Allen (William Howard Allen) came and took Esther (Emily Esther Sperry), Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and her two girls (Darlene Lunt and Sharon Alice Holman) and me up to his home to spend a few hours and have dinner with them. We sure did enjoy it, and they had a splendid dinner. George (George Thornton Holman) came in from McGill. He came out to Howard’s in time for dinner, we had a splendid time and returned home in the evening.
