1945 (Friday) – George (George Thornton Holman) and Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) went to the clinic for Eva to have further examination. I took Darlene (Darlene Lunt Holman) and Sharon (Sharon Alice Holman) through the Bureau of Information and to an organ recital.
We returned home and found Holman’s here waiting to take George and family out to their home. The doctor’s said Eva is still in very bad shape, her colitis is bad and there are little tumors in the intestine, she will have to remain on a strict diet and, when she is better, she will have to have the tumors removed and there is danger of them turning to cancers.
Evening – they left for home.
