1945 (Monday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me up to the library and I worked there most of the day on the Fitz Randolph line.. Received a letter from Dorothy (Dorothy Snader). She said Donald (Donald Snader) surprised them by coming home on a furlough, said he looked fine and seemed to feel fine too. Told me of a boyfriend, which she has, named Lawrence Dennett. He was home from England on a 30 day furlough, but has gone to South Dakota. She is wearing his wings. He is a good Mormon boy.
