1945 (Friday) – Have been cleaning my home most of the day. Got up at 5 a.m. and studied my Sunday School lesson for two hours.
Evening – Went to Esther’s (Emily Esther Sperry) for a few minutes, she had trimmed my old green hat and made it look real nice.
