1945 (Wednesday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt). We canned seven quarts of tomato juice and 16 quarts of peaches. When Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) got home from work we had to race with time to get to a store before closing time to get Larry (Larry Lunt Gabbitas) a pair of shoes, he lost one of his in the canal. Received a letter from Georgetta (Georgetta Marie Lunt).
