1945 (Thursday) – I bottled 11 quarts of peaches. Went to the bank and over to the library where I worked on the Fitz Randolph line for a couple of hours, besides checking a pedigree chart for Howard Allen (William Howard Allen).
Just as we were getting down to the table for dinner, Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) came in. She had been in town shopping, she had dinner with us. At just before six o’clock, we took her to the bus station. Received a letter from Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt).
