He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Harriet Ann Weaver; his parents, Coleman Ballrd Alcorn and Mary Catherine Hammons; his children: William Vernon Alcorn and Joseph Lorenzo Alcorn; and his siblings: Lennie Alcorn and James Henry Alcorn
