Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Thursday) – I attended Relief Society Conference in the Tabernacle. The singing mothers of Salt Lake Stake furnished the music. The music was wonderful, it was very interesting. It’s the first time I have had a chance to attend such a conference for years.

Afternoon – I attended again, President George Albert Smith was there and spoke. Sister Spafford, President, and her two counselors also spoke. They told us the Relief Society is to have a new home, a beautiful home and asked the support of all of us.
