1945 (Monday) – Did some shopping and went to the bank, sent letter and check to pay our taxes. Went to the Library and typed some sheets from Mrs. Lunt.
Afternoon, received a telephone call. It was from Mrs. Chloe H. Lunt (Chloe Haws), she was at the Library. I invited her to come and see us, which she and her husband, Heaton Lunt, and his brother, Edward Lunt, and wife (Lettie Almeda Stowell), came in for a short visit. We were very glad to meet each other. I discussed the Lunt genealogical work with them and they want me to supervise both the Cedar City and Nephi Lunt records. They will send some finished baptism sheets to me for recording and want me to take care of the sealings. I wrote to Retta (Retta Sperry) and sent a birthday card to Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt).
