1946 (Tuesday) – We have learned what was the matter of the baby (Joyce Gabbitas), the lungs were not right, there was no opening into them, that is they were solid and it would have been impossible for the child to breath, just a freak of nature.
I went to the hospital and visited with Della (Della Lunt) for at least an hour and a half.
