Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1946 (Wednesday) – I walked to town, had to go to the bank, then to the Z.C.M.I Afterwards, I went to the Lion House for lunch. I gave up my membership card to the lady at the desk, although it does not expire until the 28th. I felt someone else needed it more than I did as I go there so seldom. I told the lady I would miss coming there as I had had that privilege for over twenty years. She invited me to come in once in a while anyway. I sat at a table with Leah Phelps, Jessie Highbee and Barbara Bennett. They said when I wanted to come to lunch sometimes they will be glad to take me as a guest. I intended going to the library, but was too tired, glad to get home and rest.

Evening – I went to the ward for a practice.
