1946 (Sunday) – Went to Sunday School. Attended Brother Mortenson’s class. It seemed so strange not to have to carry a lot of material with me or teach a class. While I’m so tired, it seemed rather good.
Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) called from Clearfield to see how we were. Jean (Patricia Jean Lunt) has been quite ill, as well as Marybeth (Mary Elizabeth Lunt). Their car has been in the garage, which cost about $53. Poor kids, they have such a struggle all the time, it’s hard to keep everything up.
Evening – I went to church, called for Sister Smith. Brother Mortisen was the speaker.
