1946 (Tuesday) – I had an appointment with Dr. White at 4:45 p.m. Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I went there, waited quite a while, then found out he was not in. The office nurses seems so stupid as compared with former ones, she finally came to the door and stood looking across the room at us. When we asked if the Dr. was there she said “no, he is at the hospital”. I told her I had an appointment and she said “babies don’t wait for time to come”. So we got an appointment to come next day.
We went across the street and had dinner at Keeley’s. Then returned home.
In the forenoon, I went to town and sent a draft to Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt).
Afternoon – I went to Relief Society.
