1946 (Wednesday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I walked up town, he posted two parcels, one for Donald (Donald Snader) and one for Dorothy (Dorothy Snader), loose leaf book for their birthday.
We had to wait in the doctor’s office for over an hour. The doctor told me I didn’t need an operation, that it was my diabetes that was bothering, and later I may have to come to his office and take some treatments. It’s a big relief to know I don’t have to be operated on. Dad and I had dinner in town again. Evening – Sister Ereksen and I went across the street to Marge Ward’s to get a ticket for the Friday evening dinner.
I wrote to Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.), Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt), Lillian (Lillian Lunt) and Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt).
