1946 (Wednesday) – It has been snowing all morning. At 2:45 p.m., Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me up to the doctors in the car, then he returned home. I shopped a few minutes, then went to the doctor’s office. Had quite a long wait. I think the doctor was more ill than I was. He was quite pleased at my progress to get rid of the sugar, but found out I had high blood pressure, 180, and that my heart is a little jumpy. I do not have to return for another month, to be exact, on the 8th of April. It was raining when I returned home.
