1946 (Tuesday) – I decided not to go to Relief Society at ten o’clock as it was a work day. About noon, Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) called, he was in town, had just got in. I was very glad to see him. He looks well, too well as he has certainly gained a lot of pounds. He has decided to stay here and try and find some work to do, tired of living alone.
