1946 (Friday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) and I cleaned the front room. Have been working all day, so am very tired tonight. Received a letter from Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and Darlene (Darlene Lunt Holman). Eva now weighs 184 lbs. But the doctor said he wouldn’t let her go on a diet for a thousand dollars. She is feeling ever so much better, they are giving her some kind of sulfa treatment and it seems to be helping her a lot.
