Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1946 (Sunday) – Attended Sunday School. Afterwards, Sister Smith and I walked up Almond Street. She had an errand and I went to see Sister Bean, who had been ill. She was to have been one of our committee for The Daughters of The Pioneers. I told her we would take care of it and she could be on another committee when she got better.

Went to Sacrament Meeting. Sister Veigel (I don’t think I have spelled it right), a return missionary who gave a report, which was very interesting as she traveled without money, depending on the Lord to provide, and He never failed her. After meeting Sister’s Woodbury, Hansen, Steed and myself met to discuss our responsibilities and to divide them, for the next meeting of The Daughters of The Pioneers.
