1946 (Saturday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) and I went up to Bert’s (Charles Gilbert Lunt) to spend the day. The family was well, it was Bert’s day off. Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) was, as usual, a very busy woman and she gave us a lovely dinner. Bert, Earl and Jean (Patricia Jean Lunt), Marybeth (Mary Elizabeth Lunt) and Robert (Robert Gordon Lunt) went shopping up to Ogden. Agnes and I visited. Bert and Agnes gave me a lovely pair of nylons for a Mother’s Day gift. Earl gave me a book. We enjoyed our visit very much and returned home before dark. That is one of the reasons Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) is glad to have Earl home, it saves him taking me on such trips and Dad dearly loves to stay home all the time he can.
