1946 (Thursday) – Sister Allred and I visited several homes in the interest of genealogical work, including Sister Wanacott’s and the Bishop’s home, once home the people were sleeping and had a sign ‘do not disturb’, probably work at night. Another home a Pastor was living there, his wife came to the door, but was not at all interested and did not invite us in.

The Young home on the First North is now in possession of non-members. The woman there was not interested in what we had to explain to her.

Sister Wanacott has been called by the Stake President to be in charge of stake baptisms. She has never been interested in genealogical work, but this may give her the incentive to become so.
