Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1946 (Saturday) – It’s Pearl’s (Eva Pearl Sperry) birthday today. Mary (Mary Etta George) worked on the hall rug for three or four hours, sewing strips together. It was a hard job, but she wouldn’t even say she was the least bit tired. Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) worked on the garage door. They got the carpet down, but are leaving it until Monday before they finish it. It’s sure going to look lovely and it’s so soft it feels good to tired feet.

I wrote a letter to Lillian (Lillian Lunt). Alfred and Mary went out to Ivan and Eva’s place for dinner, and later to Lagoon. They slept at the Bayton’s.

Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) and Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) took lunch and rode up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
