1946 (Wednesday) – We were busy cleaning, shopping and getting ready for the group to spend the evening at our place. Afternoon – Della (Emma Della Sperry) and I went to the Library for a few hours.
Evening – Mel (Henry Melvin Sperry) and Vera (Vera Lucille Daley), Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and Karl (Karl Farnsworth), Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) and Della (Della Lunt), Retta (Retta Sperry) and Della, Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt), Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and me were present. The evening was spent in talking to each other, in fact, sometimes there were three groups talking at once. We served some refreshments before they went home.
