1946 (Wednesday) – Afternoon – I had to go to the doctors. He was quite pleased at the way I was doing. I don’t have to go for two month’s. I am feeling quite a bit better right now. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and George (George Thornton Holman) had been at the clinic most of the day. They still declare it will be necessary for Eva to have that operation, even though she is looking and feeling so well.
