1946 (Thursday) – I was up early, cleaning the house, getting breakfast, etc. Then about nine thirty, I went up to the Genealogical Society and worked in the Archives recording old temple sheets belonging to some of my patrons and which I hadn’t had time to clear up, some of the sheets had been waiting for a long time, there had been no funds on hand to take care of the recording so not I am doing it myself so if the Archives decide to clear up all the sealings in the old books, the recording of ordinance dates will be complete.
I didn’t feel very good when I went up there, but I asked the Lord to bless me so I could do it and not get too weary and my prayers were answered. Seems like whenever I plan to go there to work, something comes up to prevent me from doing it, so I have to be pretty humble and have faith in order to accomplish as much as I do. I went upstairs and worked almost two hours in the afternoon.
Received a letter from Dorothy (Dorothy Snader), they are quite busy all the time, they have commenced to build them a four room house, with a bath and full basement, she is quite happy about it.
Wrote a letter to Jean Snader.
