1946 (Tuesday) – I went up town, rode street car to 3rd South, went to Sears, then up to Auerbach’s, across the street and went through Cress’s. Went up and paid the telephone bill, then went over to the bank. Went to the market and then home. I was so weary and tired I could scarcely walk home.
We had quite a rain and thunder storm for a little while this afternoon.
A Sister Thomas from Idaho called for a few minutes. She wrote to me last year about the Sperry line as Sperry’s of Warwickshire, in one of her lines. She seems very sweet, she is a researcher at the Genealogical Library now.
