1946 (Sunday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) returned from Ogden just after 8 a.m. Later he went down to Pleasant Grove and Brought Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) back to Salt Lake with him. He brought us some lovely corn out of the Nelson garden, and two apples, from a neighbor’s garden, called the Summer Queen. It was one of the most delicious apples I ever tasted.
I went to Sunday School. It was very warm and Stifling today. I slept all afternoon. Did not go to Sacrament Meeting.
