1946 (Wednesday) – I went to town and then over to the Genealogical Society recorded ordinances until one o’clock then went up to the Library. Just before two o’clock, Sister Chloe Lunt (Chloe Haws) and her sister, Sister Haws (either Laura Phoebe, Martha or Mary Haws), came in. Sister Lunt and I checked with the Temple record of Henry Lunt of Cedar City and copied some information from the book. It was one of those records where the male names are recorded on one page and the female on another. Some of the records had no dates and relatives given as the relationship, so that the record was not too valuable to us.
We then went down to the Archives and checked with Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) temple record to see if there were any records from the place where Henry’s people came from.
There was nothing there to help us. It stormed quite hard in the afternoon making the weather much cooler.
Evening – I met Lillian (Lillian May Sperry) at the Capitol and we attended the show “Night and Day”, it was very interesting.
Lillian slept with me.
