1946 (Saturday) – About ten a.m., Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I went up to Bert’s (Charles Gilbert Lunt). We found the family looking pretty well. Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly), of course, doesn’t feel too good. She works too hard, home and in public. We had lunch with them and enjoyed visiting. Marybeth (Mary Elizabeth Lunt) is her mother’s helper as Jean (Patricia Jean Lunt) is working. Bert picked beans from their garden and Agnes put up six pints for us to take home with us.
