1946 (Tuesday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt), they were all well, only Chip (Gordon Lewis Gabbitas) had a cold and stayed away from school. Ivy Joan (Ivy Joan Gabbitas) is in Junior School and quite excited about it. Poor Larry (Larry Lunt Gabbitas) missed the bus and had to walk home, he hadn’t arrived when Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) came for me around six o’clock.
Judy (Judith Ann Gabbitas) is getting to be quite a big girl and Teddy (Ted Lunt Gabbitas) certainly is growing.
