1946 (Friday) – I listened to both sessions of the Quarterly Conference over the radio, doing my work in between times. Am very tired tonight.
Della (Emma Della Sperry) called me on the phone today to tell me she had been called to be a missionary with her husband (Fred McLaughlin). She was set apart by Oscar Kirkham. Said she received a very lovely blessing. She was certainly thrilled about it.
She has a bad cold.
