1946 (Tuesday) – Father (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt). Found her sick in bed with the flu. Chip (Gordon Lewis Gabbitas) also was sick. I helped Ivy Joan (Ivy Joan Gabbitas) with the work and did some ironing. Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) is having his vacation. He had to go for some milk, so brought me to town. We passed Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) going after me, but he did not see us and went on out.
