1946 (Monday) – Washed, then went to the Library, also in town. Evening – I called for Sister Erkeson and we went down to a farewell for Chris and his wife Anna who are in the mission home prior to going on a mission to Denmark. The services were very nice. The McMasters sang two numbers and a group of girls, under the leadership of Sister Black. Apostle Petersen was one of the speakers, also Sister Nona Hansen, Brother Valentine, Bishop Langton, Bishop Hinckley and Chris and Anna. All spoke in the highest terms about them, Sister Hansen said they know the bible from cover to cover and of course they both know the language.
