Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1946 (Saturday) – Had to go to town, mailed a book to my daughter Lillian (Lillian Lunt), “Talmadge’s Life of The Savior”, for her birthday.

Afternoon – Attended the funeral of B. T. Taylor. The church was filled and the flowers were beautiful. The services were splendid. Bishop Langton, by request of Brother Taylor, conducted the services and was one of the speakers. I called to see Della (Emma Della Sperry). Her fever is gone, but she feels quite ill, can’t keep anything on her stomach, but she is very much better.
