Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1946 (Thursday) – I had to go to town, started at the ZCMI and went down Main Street to Third South and across to Sears, looking for outing flannel for Dorothy (Dorothy Snader), but couldn’t find a bit, they all looked at me like I was balmy or something to ask for such a thing. I don’t know what the kid is going to do.

I went over to the Genealogical Society and down stairs where I checked in the Index Bureau on some Webb work and recorded ordinances. I looked to see if the Brockett names had been done and found that a lot of them had, seems like no matter what new ancestor I find the work it already done. Home in the evening.
