1947 (Thursday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt) where I spent most of the day. Evening – Earl, Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) and I went down to the ward to a party in the Relief Society. It was in honor of those who took part in the pageant “Remember the Day”, given by the Genealogical class. Miss Margretts was in charge of the program, it was one of the best I have attended. Songs and Readings, some of the best. Refreshments were served and after it was over, Brother Bowen took a picture of quite a large group of people, some having left.
Sister Margaret (Gibby) Valentine told me she was leaving for a trip to England next Tuesday.
