1947 (Tuesday) – Was home all forenoon and then went to Relief Society. After dinner I went over to see Sister Smith (Sister Florence Smith). I hadn’t seen her to talk to her for over a week. She was not feeling very well as her eye is hurting her again. She is not always too wise in working around the lot and she has been shoveling a little ice and snow around her house and a small blood vessel has broken again in her head.
