1947 (Friday) – Was busy at home all day long and in the evening I went up to the Genealogical Library on my own for a short time and then I helped a sister from the 22nd Ward on her Mitchel and Hague lines, they came from, we were only able to check with a few books, mostly Boyd’s index, as the time was so short. I took her to the card catalogue and tried to show her a little about its use. Walked home with the Bowen’s.
