1947 (Saturday) – Have been home all day, except down to the store. Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) went down to Pleasant Grove for the weekend. He is quite happy now as he secured the job and is working in the Board of Education Office.
I’m very tired tonight as I not only scrubbed my front porch, but on my knees, cleaned the floor in the kitchen, pantry and bathroom. It has left me tired from head to foot.
