1947 (Wednesday) – I went up to the Genealogical Society for a short time, did some checking on a couple of charts, one for Mrs. Maud E. T. Klein at 26 North West Temple. Apartment 5, the other for Adam C. Robinson, apartment 2, of the same address. I could find no records of either chart in Index Bureau.
I typed a copy for the Archive and handed them in.
It was so dreadful cold and stormy, we did not go out on research visits.
Sister Allred has been given another job, that of representative from the Genealogical committee to the Relief Society. She was released as a visiting teacher and a new companion was assigned to go with me. Sister Jasson, she and husband recently came here from Denmark. It will be a little difficult for a time as she knows very little English. She can talk German, but I know nothing of that.
