EDITORIAL:
It is good to once again publish an issue of the Messenger. We enjoy hearing from each of the reporters, and reading about our loved ones and relatives. We appreciate the opportunity that is ours to serve the Organization in this position.
As we approach the New Year we hope our efforts will be greater in getting this publication out on time. This has been one of our biggest problems, punctuality. Out on time. This has been one of our biggest problems, punctuality. We have made big efforts towards achieving this goal, but have slipped with some issues. With the time passed for New Year’s Resolutions, we hope ours don’t be too late. And that is, to get the Messenger into your homes sometime during first week of the month it is due. These months are, February, May, August and November.
We have reporters to represent almost every family branch. Periodically we will publish these names and the families they represent. Please take note of your family reporter and send them any news you might have that you would like published. Such as births, marriages, promotions, mission-calls, etc. Try to have your news items to your reporter by the 10th of the month preceding the publication month. This will enable him to get the report on to us in time for that issue. We are going to try to keep things on time and if your news items do not appear in that issue, they will be held over for the following issue.
