1947 (Friday) – I cleaned part of the house and Sister Smith and I went up to Mrs. Pearl Brown’s, one of the homes I visit and so offer our sympathy to her as her husband (J. Frank Brown) is dead. We then went up town to the drug store and I returned to the market and then down home. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) phoned soon after I got in the house and said she could go to a show and wanted me to meet her at the Rialto. We enjoyed the picture together, then she returned to the hospital and I came down home. Evening – I went up to the Library and helped a Sister Miller, who used to be one of my patrons.
