1947 (Thursday) – Feeling a little tired with a throbbing nerve in my left temple. Della (Della Lunt) came in early, they have a street car running out by Val Verda. Now she can come in once in a while. She has been having a toothache a lot lately, so she went to the dentist and had some extracted. Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) is working afternoons now so he took care of the children (Ivy Joan, Gordon Lewis, Larry Lunt, Judith Ann and Ted Lunt Gabbitas), Larry has the mumps. George (George Thornton Holman) took me up to the hospital. He thinks it so strange that I couldn’t pick out which was his car among those parked, but I never could do that. I guess I don’t take enough notice of them.
