1947 (Saturday) – George (George Thornton Holman) left for home this morning after a trip to the hospital, he said Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) was feeling fine today.
Afternoon – I went up to the hospital. She was looking fine. She sat on the side of the bed with her feet on a chair.
I called Della (Della Lunt) to see how she felt. A little better, but her mouth is very sore (I made this call on Saturday as it was Della’s birthday).
