1947 (Wednesday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt). Ivy Joan (Ivy Joan Gabbitas) wasn’t feeling very well and the other two children () were all right. Della was washing. She came in with us when Earl came for me. After dinner, she and I went to the hospital to see Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt). She was looking very well indeed considering all she had been through and she said she felt fine. She is in no pain and they are letting her have a few ounces of milk every hour or two.
She had a beautiful floral piece, carnations, daffodils, snapdragons, etc. including some lovely green stuff.
George (George Thornton Holman) brought Della and I home at 9:30. Della took the bus home.
